DJS is in the process of installing a standing seam metal roof system at Akron Biocept WWTP.
This is a multi-layer roof system. DJS took over after structural steel trusses and metal roof decking was installed by other contractors. The new roof system is composed of ½” Dens Deck Primed and DMI Ultra HT vapor barrier. Then DJS installed a 4” Poly-Iso nail base board insulation mechanically fastened to the decking, with a DMI Synthetic Underlayment over the nail base. For the next step DJS will install a new DMI DL20 22-gauge standard color Kynar finish standing seam roof including soffits, gutters and downspouts.
